The Blue Valkyrie is an ongoing comic book project being written by Emily Reisbeck and illustrated by David John Mitchell. The series launched with a complete first issue in March of 2015, with more-or-less weekly updates. Issues 1-3 were released individually in print form. These three issues were later updated with additional gray tones added and collected into a graphic novel edition along with issue 4. The series is ongoing, with issue 8 completed in November 2019, with a second graphic novel edition to be released in 2020, along with the digital debut of issue 9.
